Cooper Dubovik’s death exposes a deeper issue

The Dubovik family left 5 month old baby boy Cooper Dubovik with a 65 year old babysitter Barbara Kendrick in Jacksonville, Florida, so they could work. They had complete trust in their babysitter and love for their beloved baby boy Cooper However, when they returned Cooper had a fractured skull.

According to News4Jax , March 7th , Tuesday,  Barbara Kendrick threw Cooper into a playpen, which caused Cooper to suffer from a fractured skull and was later pronounced dead at Wolfson’s Children’s hospital . Police said one of Cooper’s relatives went off to a neighbor’s house for help.

Barbara lost her temper due to the constant fussiness of Cooper who was teething.

The family is mourning with the loss of their little boy starting a Gofundme for the funeral.

Babysitting abuse has become a serious issue worldwide many parents have trust issues and are afraid to let their children be watched by anyone else causing them to let go of their jobs.  A day care worker , 52 , Sarah Gable  in Upper Darby , Pennsylvania was caught on tape shoving 4 year old girl down a flight of stairs and after looking at the camera and was released from jail on a 25,000$ bond .

Another case of  babysitters and daycare in Texas, Gregory Diglin assaulted a 4 year old girl by picking her up by and slamming her body against the ground to later on put her in a corner to clean up her blood , she had several injuries such as a busted lip , sore gums, and other facial injuries .

In 2009, Barbara was first charged with aggravated child abuse and when Cooper was pronounced dead at the hospital it upgraded up to murder .  Barbara has had a charge of trafficking in opiates so she does have a history of trouble . Events such like this huge emotional tolls can be taken on families and parents and guardians all around the world.

The family is just asking for prayers.
