Trump’s Twitter account suspended for 11 minutes
As an employee of Twitter was walking out of the door for the last time, the unidentified culprit suspended Trump’s Twitter account. Trump’s Twitter account disappeared around 11:00 pm on November 2. Twitter initially said that this was a human error in order to cover up the fact that their employee purposely deleted his account, due to his own ideologies.
This unidentified Twitter employee used his last day at Twitter to ambush Trump’s account. Famous individuals such as actress Madeline Hill and writers Casey Newton and Gina Dalfonzo tweeted in response to Twitter’s tweet, stating that they were very content with this accident.
Previously and currently Trump’s account is constantly reported. There have been ongoing calls to Twitter, requesting to ban Trump from twitter. For 11 minutes these people were pleased.
This was not a hack, as many people thought. Most people immediately took the twitter employee’s side; they made statements saying that his account was hacked by outside source, and not the employee who they supported.
Victoria Tran Sophomore at NHS says “I think what that employee did was very bold and that Trump as president should be held to certain level of sophistication that he has not upheld. To most Americans it’s embarrassing.” Tran believes that this act of foolishness was acceptable.
It is okay how this student feels, but the way this employee chose to express his opinion was wrong and out of line. If people are not happy with the president that is fine, but the should not act in such a cowardly way.
