Jackie Aronin
Nicole Healy: What was the best part of high school?
Jackie Aronin: The best part of high school was probably getting involved in athletics, it helped me “spread my wings” because I didn’t go to school in Naugatuck before high school and it helped me venture out and meet new people.
NH: What was the worst part?
JA: Going from a school where my class had 50 kids in it to a high school like this, the worst part was definitely the amount drama that goes on and how much time it takes from your studies or athletics.
NH: What is one regret you have?
JA: I regret not joining some clubs earlier, i didn’t start until junior and senior year and I wish I had joined them sooner.
NH: If you could do one thing you liked over again, what would you choose?
JA: I would restart softball season from freshman year. I would do all the hills and all the sprints, I’d do it all again.
NH: Is there a teacher or staff member that you have gotten close with?
JA: Mr. Wesche and I have gotten somewhat close, it’s kind of like having another father on school grounds, and I like having him here.
NH: What are your plans for next year?
JA: I plan to continue playing softball at Utica College in upstate New York, and study to be a physical therapist.
NH: what are you most excited about for college?
JA: Definitely playing softball, and also not living at home. I’m excited to venture out from a small town.
