Adam Antunes
Nicole Healy: What was the best part of high school?
Adam Antunes: The best part of high school would have to be soccer season. Although i complained about the daily games and practices, I miss it.
NH: What was the worst part?
AA: The worst part had to be breaking my wrist and taking my two finals at the end of the summer.
NH: What is one regret you have in high school?
AA: One regret I have is not getting to take AP Spanish because there were not enough students enrolled to have the class.
NH: If you could do one thing you liked over again, what would you chose?
AA: If I could do one thing that I enjoyed again, it would probably be playing soccer. Just hopefully without injuries this time around.
NH: Are there any teachers or staff members that you have gotten close with?
AA: I had gotten really close to Mrs. Cruz before she passed away. I had her for Spanish III Honors and continued to visit her for as long as she was at school. The talks I remember having with her have motivated me and I want to make her proud because I know she’s watching.
NH: What are your plans for next year?
AA: i plan to attend either Boston University or UConn next year and hopefully figure out what career in the medical field I want to pursue.
NH: What are you most excited for after high school?
AA: I am most excited to just be able to move out and start the rest of my life. of course I will be back but it’s finally time for me to do my own thing.
I am a Naugy senior, and on the Naugatuck High School volleyball team. I enjoy writing stories about current events going on within our school.
