Mr. Trump has built Trump Hotels in parts of the United States, as well as Ireland, Canada, Panama, and Hawaii. Trump Golf Courses has also been a benefit for Mr. Trump as he has built them in the United States, as well as other countries.Trump has built his wealth also from real estate creating Trump International Realty. Others may also know Mr. Trump from the entertainment world, as he was on the show Apprentice aired on January of 2004. Mr.Trump has been successful throughout his businesses making him one of the wealthiest men in the United States.

Throughout the year and a half, Americans have followed Trump on his journey until he was the only Republican candidate left. People around the U.S. have had different opinions on Mr. Trump’s goals for this country and who he is as a person. Mr. Trump then ran against Democratic Candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton. President-elect Trump spent months campaigning, visiting and holding rallies in many states in the United States.

As followers around the U.S followed Mr. Trump throughout the year, they have witnessed an intense campaign against his opponent Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. President-elect Trump and Secretary Clinton had citizens and party leaders scrutinizing them. For the majority of the election, people around the states watched as Hillary Clinton was getting a strong response. This 2016 election had more people come out to vote than ever leading to life changing election.

This past Tuesday, November 8, 2016 the presidential election was held. On November 9, at approximately two in the morning, Donald J. Trump was announced the next President of the United States of America. President-elect Donald Trump had a popular vote of 59,589,892 while Democratic Candidate, Hillary Clinton, had 59,796,498. However, President Elect Mr. Trump had 279 electoral votes, while Hillary Clinton had 228 electoral votes. Making Donald Trump the next future President of the United States of America.
