Tom Brady lives up to the hype
The press has heard a lot from the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this past season. Between the Deflategate and his Super bowl run this session was projected to be one of his best sessions. Brady is living up to the hype.
In the 2015 playoffs Brady was accused of deflating the footballs used in the AFC championship games against the Indianapolis colts.
The championship game was played on January 18th, 2015. After the colts protested the game, Brady was held to a four game suspension during the 2016 session.
The 2016-2017 session was projected to be Brady’s best year according the USA Today Sports. He is living up to the hype. Brady has the opportunity to set four meaningful records in 2016: winning his 201st game, putting him ahead of Peyton Manning for the most all-time (regular season and playoff). Brady is fourth on the completions list with 5,128 yards 563 yards behind Drew Brees. Brady is 7 wins away from tying Peyton manning in game-winning drives. Also Brady has the chance to set the passing touchdown record with 446 touchdown passes leaving him 93 passes away from Peyton Manning.
Tom Brady and the Patriots are looking to win their 5th championship since this historical run in 2002. The Patriots will face the Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl on February 5th at NRG stadium in Houston Texas.
