“The Fate of the Furious” continues the hype

Eight movies into the “Fast and Furious,” someone would expect the series to start losing steam, but the exact opposite is happening.

“Fast 8” is all anybody can talk about. Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and the crew manage to keep viewers’ eyes glued onto the screen throughout the entire movie.

Although, the franchise tries to do things a bit differently this time. Since Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel,  is practically untouchable behind the wheel, he will be forced to turn on his family.

Cipher (Charlize Theron) will do anything in order to keep Toretto on the tip of her nose. Toretto must turn against his family and leave them to fend for themselves in order to save a family member of his own.

Cipher is a cold, heartless calculating villain who proves to be a lot more than just a challenge. Theron plays her wrathfully and depraved.

When Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson is sent to prison, he finds his worst enemy, Deckard played by Statham in the cell across him. When all of the cells are accidentally unlocked, Deckard tries his best to escape but, Hobbs is right behind him trying to make sure he doesn’t get away.

They are finally released afterwards and told that they must work together in order to save Dom and capture Cipher.

“There’s much to enjoy when cars are flying around the screen, even if logic takes flight with them. Some of the sequences are absolutely preposterous but make for such a dazzling display of destruction, they allow you to appreciate the sheer audacity of the filmmakers to even conjure them up! Traditional for big-budget films today, the plot leaves room for yet another outing, although at this point one wonders how much gas is left in the tank of this franchise,” says Neil Soans, a movie critic.

With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia decide to retire and find sanctuary elsewhere. The crew feels that it would be better if they didn’t bring Brian and his family into everything going on.

Overall, the movie was fantastic. The acting was spectacular and the movie was filled with action everywhere. Charlize Theron did an excellent job in her part as the evil villain, Cypher, and made it very convincing that she was trying to take everything over.

Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto) convinces the entire crowd that he was actually turning against his family until we find out his reason for it. He leaves us asking questions throughout the movie and wondering what is going to happen next.

“The Fate of the Furious” was by far one of the best movies of the sequel and fans everywhere hope to see more movies coming our way.
