IOS 10 Update

IOS 10 Update

Apple updated from IOS 9.3 to IOS 10 on September 13, 2016. Major changes in the IOS 10 update include raise to wake, clear all notification button, control center decluttered, talk to Siri normally and water detection. From several tweets on Twitter, it shows that more people enjoy IOS 10 than don’t.

According to a recent NHS survey, the lock screen change is the most disliked feature update. With IOS 9.3, users were able to slide the screen right and type in an either four or six digit PIN number; or go into settings and put a finger print in so the user can use the finger touch, commonly known as the home button. Now with IOS 10, users can unlock their phone by pressing the home button and using the finger touch. If they do  not like that, they can go into settings and make it so they only have to use finger touch.

With the messaging, texters are now able to send the bubble messages with invisible ink, gentle, loud or slam. Users can also send balloons, confetti, lasers, fireworks and shooting stars that will appear on the entire screen.

From time to time, an Iphone user may realize that there will be apps that they no longer have a use for, or never had a use for. These may include iBooks, podcast, stocks, reminder, passbook and so on. Now with the new update that take up oh so much space, users will have the ability to delete them!

The survey concludes that more people liked the update than not. That the lock screen was the least liked while the messaging app was the most enjoyed. No one seemed to notice the changes with Maps, Notes and the ability to delete apps, as well as the control center being less crowded and iTunes.
