Youtube has been around since February fourteenth of 2005 and is now one of the most popular sites in the world. Youtube  has even helped create careers for some youtubers. They get the chance to go on tours, attend meet and greets with fans, write their own books, have brand deals and, even, host award shows.

Three amazing youtubers that have been able to achieve such fame are Nikkie Tutorials, Loey Lane and Shane Dawson.

The queen of the makeup community would be Nikkie Tutorials, with an ample sum of 7,623,596 subscribers. She has kicked down the stereotype of people wearing make-up just to impress the opposite sex.

Nikkie’s fun and loving personality shines through the camera and makes her audience feel like friends rather than just an audience. Youtube has helped her build a career that has led her to make her own makeup collection with Too Faced Cosmetics .

Also a benefit of being a  famous youtuber is getting a chance to work with celebrities and Nikkie worked with Kim Kardashian West’s twice and got an exclusive chance to try out West’s new makeup before the line even came out.

The main star in the scary entertainment category would be Loey Lane, with a sum of 1,244,854 subscribers. Loey’s most popular videos happen to be her paranormal ones because she talks about true events that have happened to her and even in some of her videos some can capture growls and whispers in the background.

In one of her videos, she was discussing a haunted doll she had bought and a banging was heard on her door but no one was around. Viewers are obsessed with her personality but also the chills they get when watching.

One benefit of her popularity is she is writing two books. “Haunted in Hollywood” is coming out soon. Her fame has resulted in being able to do fashion hauls for Torrid and other brand deals.

The king of Youtube would be Shane Dawson; he has no category because he does a little of everything.  Dawson has 10, 640,456 subscribers and it is constantly growing as he posts more content. He does everything from burning minion dolls and making a cake out of twinkies and frosting to conspiracy videos. His performance makes viewers smile.

Youtube has become more than what it was intended to be. It has grown and become a platform for stardom.
